1. Introduction

MagicScreen, Inc. ("MagicScreen," "we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at magicscreen.ai (the "Site"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and the choices you have regarding their use.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners.

Cookies can be "session cookies" (which expire when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). We also use similar technologies such as pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage, which function in a comparable way to cookies.

3. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for the following purposes:

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Site to function properly. They enable core features such as page navigation, access to secure areas, and basic functionality. The Site cannot function properly without these cookies, and they cannot be disabled.

3.2 Analytics Cookies

We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our Site. This helps us improve the Site's performance, content, and user experience. The information collected is aggregated and anonymized.

Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to visiting. We use this information solely to improve the Site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Site, not your name or other identifying information.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

3.3 Preference Cookies

Preference cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as your preferred language or region) and provide enhanced, more personalized features. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages.

3.4 Marketing Cookies

We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies on our Site. If this changes in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy accordingly.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Site are set by third parties. We do not control these cookies, and their use is governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties. The third-party services we currently use that may set cookies include:

5. Managing Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies (other than strictly necessary cookies). You can manage your cookie preferences in the following ways:

5.1 Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these settings in the "Options," "Preferences," or "Settings" menu of your browser. The following links provide information on how to manage cookies in common browsers:

Please note that if you disable or refuse cookies, some parts of the Site may become inaccessible or not function properly.

5.2 Opt-Out of Analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. This add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no standard for how companies should respond to such signals. If a standard is established, we will review our practices and update this policy accordingly.

7. Cookies and the MagicScreen macOS App

The MagicScreen macOS desktop application does not use browser cookies. The app processes audio locally in real time and does not store recordings on our servers. Any preferences or settings within the app are stored locally on your device using macOS system storage mechanisms, not cookies.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
